Epacris impressa, also known as common heath, is a plant of the heath family, Ericaceae, that is native to southeast Australia: the states of Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and New South Wales. The plant grows as a woody shrub with an erect habit, sometimes reaching 2 to 3 m in height.The branches are stiff and have small leaves and the flowers are white or pink and show around early spring.
